In July 2021 Auckland set a new record as did Canterbury, Manawatu/Wanganui and Southland.

With Waikato, Taranaki and Marlborough all achieving record median sale prices in July, when all combined, it's no wonder Kiwis have been capitalising on their equity in this unprecedented market.

The New Zealand average median sale price is now $826,000 and Auckland $1,175,000.

During Covid lockdown, buyer inquiries surged and premium sale prices are still being achieved due to the low number of properties available for sale.

This is definitely a seller's market.

If you want to sell your property while sale prices are still at a record level, request a shortlist of vetted real estate agents to compare first - it's a free service.
